We have our own little network!! (Budget Funded by the Computer Science Department)

Our network is powered by the latest technology, including:

  • High-Speed Fiber Optic Cables (1000 Kbps!!)
  • State-of-the-Art Servers (Microsoft IIS included!)
  • Advanced Security Measures
  • And much more!

Speedtest Servers

We run on Ookla and Speedtest.net under our network name "Furry Institute of Technology" (aka owo).
We donate close to a hundred terabytes of bandwidth every month for internet speedtests, mainly because of our ability to, for fun, and "For the good of the internet".

Network Information

Our network is capable of speeds up to 1000 Kbps, and can burst up to 10000 Kbps.
Okay for realsies, we have ~40gbps of carrier-grade bandwidth network-wide and have multiple POPs and Tier 1 & Tier 2 upstreams spanning mainly the greater US and Europe areas.

And as of late 2024 we have nearly crossed over 1M+ Tests by users so far using our network! (via Ookla)

We have a 99.9% uptime guarantee, ensuring that you can access our servers whenever you need it.

Our network is also incredibly secure. We use the latest security measures to ensure that your data is safe and secure. We use advanced encryption methods to ensure that your data is safe and secure.
